Epulaeryu – Poetry Food for Thought</b></u></div><br />

Oddly enough, I explored this poetry form after a bout of food poisoning. I’m not sure if I was testing the intestinal waters to see if I was still ill or if I wanted to see if I could stimulate my appetite again. Either way, it got my mind working and out of the fogginess of illness.<br />
<br />
The epulaeryu is a more recent poetry form, created by Joseph S. Spence, Senior. The name of this short (33 syllable) form is a fusion of Latin and Asian that loosely means form of a feast.<br />

--7 lines.<br />
--Syllable counts for the lines are as follows: 7/5/7/5/5/3/1<br />
--About food (either an ordinary or special meal, feast etc.)<br />
--End the final line with an exclamation point! <br />
